About Me

My photo
Musetta Aponte
I have wanted to be an artist for as long as I can remember. I obtained A BFA from the Columbus College of Art and Design in 2003… My work has been published/exhibited at: The Columbus College of Art and Design The Society of Illustrators, L.A. California Westwind Art Gallery, Casper Wyoming Mountain Living Studio, Colorado Springs Colorado A Show of Hands, Alexandria Virginia The Loft Gallery, Occoquan Virginia River Art Group Gallery, San Antonio Texas The Good Art Co. Fredericksburg Texas Currently I'm living in San Antonio Texas with my husband and two daughters. I love the tactile experience and traditional materials that create a one of a kind work. "When you buy something from an artist you're buying more than an object. You're buying hundreds of hours of errors and experimentation. You're buying years of frustration and moments of pure joy. You're not buying just one thing, you are buying a piece of a heart, a piece of a soul…a small piece of someone else's life." I hope you enjoy my paintings as much as I enjoyed doing them! If you're interested in purchasing any of them please contact me at: 719-332-2430 musettag@hotmail.com
