I am loving all the color that San Antonio provides every sunset and sunrise.  My husband sent me the photo reference for this painting...since I'm not that early of a riser. Lately I've been gravitating back to the "Above the Clouds" theme. This size canvas was fun to work with too.

There were beautiful cumulus clouds forming over a huge texas hay field late afternoon...I did this quick study...I am playing catch up on my blog. My computer has been down but there are more paintings to come.

I'm picking back up where I left off. 

 Lately I've been exploring impressionism, as well as playing with the tactical expression of paint...I feel somewhat tired of rendering, even from live subjects.  I'm now at a place to start accomplishing a "daily painting".
